Michelin's Uniroyal brand gives away gas cards

GREENVILLE, S.C. (Dec. 4, 2008) - Michelin North America Inc.'s Uniroyal brand will give away a $100 Visa gas card to a customer each month for a year starting Dec. 15 as part of its Uniroyal Tire Miles4Less Free Gas Giveaway promotion.
A total of 13 winners will receive gas cards during the promotion to use at any gas station of their choice. Winners will be selected around the 15th of each month, and anyone can enter the contest online by visiting www.uniroyal.com and clicking on "free gas giveaway," the company said.
Entries must be submitted by midnight the day before each drawing. No purchase is necessary to participate, and there is a limit of one winner per household over the course of the year.
"Considering the economic downturn Americans have seen recently this is the perfect time for Uniroyal to help drivers combat the fluctuating price of gasoline," said Kaz Holley, Uniroyal brand director. "Family budgets have less room these days for extras, let alone necessities, and the gas giveaway allows us to increase value for our customers."
